Learning Outcomes and Application This unit involves the skills and knowledge required to develop and modify trade waste policies and plans.It includes planning, developing, modifying, reviewing and refining policies and plans for trade waste activities relating to liquid waste discharge to wastewater collection systems. It also includes applying and complying with relevant legislation, regulations, industry standards and workplace policies and procedures. This unit applies to those working as leaders in water organisations with responsibility for the management of trade waste policies and plans. Those undertaking this unit would work autonomously, leading staff, while performing sophisticated tasks in a range of familiar contexts.No licensing, legislative or certification requirements apply to unit at the time of publication.
